Mission

Our mission is to improve the health and life of people with arthritis and other musculoskeletal diseases. Among the different forms of arthritides, we focus specifically on osteoarthritis (OA). Our research ranges from basic science to translational, clinical, and epidemiologic projects. We investigate disease mechanisms, search for new therapeutic targets, and conduct a cohort study together with a bio-material bank of people with OA, including clinical and laboratory parameters, biomarkers and bio-samples, images, risk factors, oral health, patient-reported outcomes and digital health technology-derived data.
