Wolfgang Wirth is a post-doc researcher at the Institute of Anatomy at the Paracelsus Medical University, Salzburg and the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Arthritis and Rehabilitation and also is CTO of Chondrometrics GmbH, Freilassing, Germany. His research focus is on the development and application of imaging-based methods for the quantitative analysis of synovial joints tissues and their use in epidemiological osteoarthritis studies and clinical trials evaluating the efficacy of disease modifying osteoarthritis drug candidates.
